Auto-complete     A software feature that uses text already entered in a given field to predict or generate
                               the characters the user is likely to enter next; familiar to anyone who has used  
                               predictive text or search boxes on websites.


Boomerang child    young adult who returns to live at his or her family home especially for financial reasons.

 
Bromance                 a close non-sexual relationship between men.

 
Clickjacking           a malicious technique of tricking Web users into revealing confidential information or 
                               taking control of their computer while clicking on seemingly innocuous web pages. 

Crowdsourcing      obtaining information from a large group of people who contribute on-line
 

Duatholon – three partlong-distance race with a running phase, a bicycling phase, and a final running phase

earworm                  A catchy tune or piece of music which persistently stays in a person's mind, esp. to the 
                              point of irritation

green fuel            (a type of) fuel, esp. biofuel, which is regarded as less harmful to the environment than 
                             conventional fuels

Helicopter parent  a parent who is overly involved in the life of his/her child

 

m-commerce  - a business transaction conducted using a mobile device
